About aetlier

An atelier aetlier,
rearranged.

The name is an anagram: the same letters as atelier, arranged differently. That is the whole idea: the same clothes, arranged differently. Nothing new is needed. Everything is already there.

The story

Born in Zürich, from a wardrobe that was full and a mirror that disagreed

aetlier started with the most common sentence in fashion: too many clothes, nothing to wear. Not because the clothes were wrong, but because nobody had ever connected them to the person wearing them.

Personal styling knew the answer decades ago: your colour season, your proportions, and a wardrobe built with intention will always beat a wardrobe built on impulse. But that knowledge lived in expensive consultations and out-of-print colour books.

aetlier puts it in your pocket. An analysis of your colouring across 12 seasons, a vault of everything you own, and a stylist who checks every outfit against your palette, your day, and your weather before you ever see it.

Switzerland first. Europe next.

What we believe

Three convictions we will not rearrange

No 1

Wear what you own

The best wardrobe is the one already hanging in your closet, understood properly. We suggest outfits from your pieces first, purchases last, and only when a genuine gap exists.

No 2

Colour is not a trend

Your colour season does not change with the season. What flatters you at 30 flatters you at 60. We build on what is permanently true about you, not on what is temporarily loud.

No 3

Style is singular

The goal is not to dress like everyone doing it right. The goal is a wardrobe so precisely yours that nobody else could wear it the same way. We call that singular. It is our highest tier for a reason.

A note from the founder

I built aetlier because I was the problem it solves.

I have spent ten years in digital marketing, in fintech, and most of my life loving clothes. I can sew. I know my colour season. I have a wardrobe I adore. And still, most mornings used to start with the same quiet panic in front of an open closet.

The tools that existed treated a wardrobe like a spreadsheet. I wanted the opposite: something with taste, memory, and the occasional raised eyebrow. Something closer to a stylist who knows you than an app that counts you.

aetlier is that. It is Swiss, it is precise, and it is a little bit opinionated. So is Anna. So, frankly, am I.
